Stage Two - Monday 4th May

The weather is extremely cold and wet with chilling winds. Apparently the worst weather in years. Today the cold hit me hard. My feet are still sore but getting through. Got over 30km done till the cold won on the last section. I was about 10km away from the end when hypothermiaawt in. Took me back to one of the organisers houses to get warm. I stopped shivering after two hours inside the house. Four people pulled out today due to the extreme weather. They have changed the route for Stage three on Tuesday to make it shorter as this weather is taking it's toll.
